You'll hear about three ways you can designate your proxy and submit it through the Club Business section of Toastmasters.org. Here are some instructions if you are in District 42 and for other and all Toastmasters, this is just one take on this. I suggest visiting www.toastmasters.org/proxyquestions

We'll also touch upon what District Governors do with respect to the candidates at the convention. Visit the convention site to find out more about this exciting annual event which runs August 11-14, In Palm Desert, California.

They share with us what to expect from the new podcast and how will it will differ from their previous incarnation.

They'll also talk about a couple of episodes they've already done, including their take on SpeakEasy -the forthcoming documentary on Public Speaking and stories emanating from this year's Convention here in Mashantucket, CT. Be sure to tune in - it'll be loads of fun and quite a few laughs too as Bo 8 Ryan do their thing and also poke fun at yours truly, Greg Gazin.

Jana takes us beyond the Courage to Conquer - impressing upon us that we all have the potential to do great things.

She shares with us about who in her life has influenced her, and how things people say- positive or negative, can impact your life. She explains how’s she’s different and how she overcame those obstacles. We hear success stories on how others have had the Courage to Conquer. Jana also comes clean about her first interview and trip to the International Speech Contest (Regional) Finals that didn’t really work out as planned and why, after 25 years, she’s still a Toastmaster.

An inspiring, motivating and entertaining conversation with one incredible lady, just following her visit to District 42’s Spring Convention in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada.

The benefit of a podcast is that it is something that people can listen to. While we strive for face to face communication we can’t do it 24/7. And while text, manuals and e-mails can often do the job to relay information, it’s nice to have something that can bridge the gap between the written and the in person. It’s also something people can listen to while they are doing something else. For extended Toastcaster episodes, people can listen to it in their cars or iPods. ….And thus the Toastcast.

Enjoy! Greg…
